Udang Goreng Asam Manis

Bahan-bahan

  • 250 grams udang ukuran sedang, buang kepala dan kulitnya, gurat punggungnya
  • 5 siung bawang putih, cincang
  • 1 butir telur ayam
  • 2 sendok makan saus tomat
  • 1 buah jeruk nipis
  • 1/2 sendok makan gula pasir
  • 100 grams tepung terigu
  • minyak goreng secukupnya
  • garam dan lada secukupnya

Cara Membuat

  • Taburkan bawang putih, garam dan lada ke seluruh udang dengan rata.
  • Buat adonan dari tepung terigu, telur, air, garam dan lada secukupnya. Jangan terlalu encer.
  • Panaskan minyak goreng, masukkan satu per satu udang di adonan, hingga udang terbungkus adonan, kecuali bagian ekornya. Lalu masukkan ke dalam minyak panas sampai terendam (deep fries).
  • Setelah kuning, angkat dan tiriskan.
  • Hidangkan dengan saus berikut:
  • Panaskan saus tomat, tambahkan sedikit air, gula pasir dan air jeruk nipis.
  • Tunggu sebentar, angkat.

Sweet-Sour Fried Prawns

Ingredients

  • 250 grams medium-size prawn, the head and the shell, scratch the back part
  • 5 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoon tomato sauce
  • 1 citrus
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar
  • 100 grams wheat flour
  • as much as needed cooking oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Sprinkle some chopped garlic, salt and pepper over all part of prawns evenly.
  • Put wheat flour, egg, salt and pepper to taste in a bowl, add some water then stirred until you get dough which is not too watery or too thick.
  • Heat cooking oil, meanwhile put prawns one by one into the dough, make them covered by the dough but the tail. Then deep-fry them until become yellowish and then drain them.
  • Serve together with the following sauce:
  • ┬áHeat tomato sauce, add a little water, sugar and citrus juice.
  • ┬áStir awhile slowly and then ready to be served.
