Pepes Jagung Muda

Bahan-bahan

  • 5 buah jagung muda
  • 150 grams udang basah
  • 1 butir telur
  • 1 papan petai
  • 2 lembar daun salam
  • 1 batang serai
  • daun pisang secukupnya

Bumbu Halus

  • 6 butir bawang merah
  • 3 siung bawang putih
  • 1/2 sendok makan garam
  • 1/2 sendok makan gula

Cara Membuat

  • Sisir jagung muda kemudian haluskan (agak kasar).
  • Udang dikupas dan cuci bersih.
  • Kupas petai kemudian potong kecil-kecil.
  • Campur jagung muda, udang dan petai dengan bumbu halus, diaduk-aduk hingga tercampur rata.
  • Ambil 2 sendok makan adonan atau sesuai selera, bungkus dengan daun pisang. Lakukan hingga adonan habis. Kemudian kukus hingga matang.

Spicy Young Corn Wrapped in Banana Leaf

Ingredients

  • 5 young corn (can be substituted with sweet corn)
  • 150 grams fresh prawns
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pod petai (stink beans), peeled
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 lemongrass
  • banana leaf

Ground Spices and Seasonings

  • 6 shallots
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon sugar

Method

  • Cut the corn kernels from the each cob, then coarsely pulverized or blended.
  • Shell prawns and washed.
  • Peel petai from the pod, then diced.
  • Mix pulverized corn, prawns and petai with ground spices, evenly stirred.
  • Take 2 tablespoons of the dough (mixture) or to taste, wrapped in banana leaf neatly. Repeat until the last dough.
  • Steam altogether until cooked.
