Ayam Bumbu Rujak

Bahan-bahan

  • 1 ekor ayam yang agak muda
  • 1 batang serai
  • 200 ml santan
  • minyak goreng secukupnya untuk menggoreng ayam

Bumbu Halus

  • 2 siung bawang putih
  • 5 butir bawang merah
  • 4 butir kemiri
  • 1 sendokmakan ketumbar
  • 1 ruas jari lengkuas (Jawa: laos)
  • 1 mata asam jawa
  • garam secukupnya

Cara Membuat

  • Cuci ayam sampai bersih kemudian potong-potong sesuai selera dan digoreng.
  • Bumbu halus ditumis hingga beraroma, kemudian masukkan santan dan serai. Setelah mendidih masukkan ayam, aduk-aduk sebentar kemudian biarkan sampai santan tinggal sedikit dan bumbu mengental, baru angkat dan hidangkan.

Fried Chicken in Seasoned Coconut Milk

Ingredients

  • 1 young chicken
  • 200 cc coconut milk
  • 1 stalk lemongrass
  • enough cooking oil to fry chicken

Ground Spices and Seasonings

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 5 shallots
  • 4 candlenuts
  • 1 tablespoon coriander
  • 2 cm galangal
  • 1 pod seedless tamarind
  • salt to taste

Method

  • Cut chicken into parts (8-10 parts) after being washed cleanly. Then fry until done.
  • sauté ground spices until aromatic, then add coconut milk and lemongrass. When boiling add fried chicken, mix well awhile then leave it until the coconut milk almost dry and the seasoning becomes thick.
  • Ready to be served.
